Health
Our Health Program is aimed at improving access to healthcare in the Somali region of Ethiopia. We believe that access to healthcare is a basic human right, and we work to ensure that everyone has access to the care they need.
Our Health Program includes: - Medical Supplies and Equipment: We provide medical supplies and equipment to health centers and hospitals to ensure that they have the resources they need to provide quality healthcare. - Health Campaigns: We conduct health campaigns to raise awareness about hygiene, sanitation, and disease prevention. This includes campaigns on handwashing, water treatment, and malaria prevention. - Maternal and Child Health: We provide support for maternal and child health programs, including prenatal care, vaccinations, and nutrition support for pregnant women and young children. - HIV/AIDS Prevention and Treatment: We provide support for HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment programs, including testing, counseling, and antiretroviral therapy. - OWDA runs mobile health teams and nutrition programs all over the Somali region of Ethiopia to provide essential health services to communities in remote and hard-to-reach areas. These programs are designed to improve access to healthcare and nutrition, particularly for vulnerable populations, such as children and pregnant women.
